About Larney + Babs

Sisters by chance, complete idiots by choice. Lauren and Beth are sisters who particularly delight in the weirdest and dumb-dumb-dumbest of shit. We are at once Crafty Cathys and Business Bettys. One of us is six whole feet tall and one of us has toes as long as fingers. You'll never know who is who, jk. 

Larney (Lauren) was nesting like the mama bird she was born to be when pregnant with Beth's ridiculously cute niece. A pop music lover to her core, Lauren got a wild hair and happened upon a set of blank wooden nesting dolls, and next thing ya know, she had her paintbrushes out and was FaceTiming Beth (ahem, ahem: BFA, University of Missouri, GPA 3.92) for artistic approval. 

Beth is one of the top trinket makers in the nation. And by that we mean she is a designer of pretty things that no one needs, but everyone wants. (Check out her first and second businesses). When Lauren showed her the final nesting doll sets, she snatched 'em and ran...because mama's delightful lil treasures need to be in the hands of as many fellow weirdos as possible.

Larney + Babs is a labor of love and probably farts between two soul mates who happen to be sisters from the Midwest by way of a Juris Doctorate and a multi-hyphenate business empire. We can't wait to see all these lil "babs" out in the world and in your hands.

P.S. We also have another sister. But she's the middle child and no one cares.
